Leek, salmon and potato gratin

In general, I prefer when cooking is simple. Nothing serves to make it complicated to have something good and as I rarely want to cook for 2 hours at night when I come back from work, I always do the most practical. This gratin illustrates very well that I think.

I can guarantee that the flavors are there and that it does not require a lot of work. And here’s an idea if friends or family come home! I have long hesitated to put salmon or not and I do not regret at all, the ingredients combine very well and then it makes a fairly balanced meal.

Preparation time: 20 min

Cooking time: 15 + 20 min

Ingredients (for 2 people):
– 2 potatoes
– 1 big leek
– 1 salmon filet
– 1 net of white wine
– 10 g of butter
– 2 soup spoon of crème fraiche

Cut the ends of the leek, remove the first leaf and wash it. Then slice it roughly. Melt the butter in a large skillet. Once warm, add leek and white wine, salt and pepper and leave on medium heat for about 15 minutes.

Peel the potatoes, cut them into coarse cubes and cook for about 10 minutes in boiling salted water. Once cooked, strain in a colander.

Remove the salmon skin and cut into small cubes.

Pour some of the leek in a gratin dish, add the potatoes and some of the salmon. Then add the remaining leek and salmon above. Add some fresh cream on top. Salt, pepper and bake for 15-20 min at 180 ° C.
